The highly anticipated Audi A7 Sportback is readying the end of its pre-production phase, and may soon be available at North American Audi dealerships like Fred Lavery Company in Birmingham, MI.
The A7 Sportback was first unveiled in concept form at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show - also known as The North American International Auto Show.
Since then, fans of Audi have clamored for the A7 to come to life - and now their patience has been rewarded.
Foreign auto magazine Autocar reported that an official unveiling of A7 will take place at this year's Paris Motor Show in September. It also reported UK sales would probably start in the first quarter of 2011, followed by sales in the United States later that year.
Audi's A7 will also get a thunderous RS 7 model. It is said to pump out 580 bhp from its 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine, according to Autocar. The 5.0-liter TFSI V10 from the RS6 with its 572 bhp might be a better candidate.
Running all four wheels would be a 7-speed double clutch gearbox.
No word yet on how much an all new Audi A7 Sportback will run you, this information will most likely be available when official specifications are released by the German auto maker.
