The all new Porsche 911 for 2012 has finally been unveiled. Looking at the exterior, you might not think any changes were made from the previous year. Just take a look inside however, and the changes are revealed.
Available soon from Fred Lavery Company in Birmingham, MI, 911's interior wraps around its driver. Luxury as well as entertainment become very apparent when viewing the interior of this new line with features such as a center-mounter entertainment and information console in its dash as well as comfortable leather seats.
"The cabin?has evolved like one of Charles Darwin's specimens," adds Stephen Turvil from motoring.co.uk.
When you pop the 911's hood, you'll see a 3.4-liter flat-six, which creates 350-bhp, while hitting 62 miles per hour in just 4.6 seconds. If that's not enough power for you however, the Porsche's Carrera S, has a 3.8-liter boxer engine producing 400-bhp, while getting to that 62 mph .3 seconds faster. That may not seem like much of a difference, but its noticeable in such a small window of time.
If that's still not enough speed for you another option exists in the Sport Chrono Pack. The lightweight aluminum body allows for more speed. There's also a Dynamic Chassis Control System with this package, which allows you to corner as if you were on rails.
Starting this December the 2012 Porsche 911 will make its way into showrooms.
