Congrats to the Porsche Cayenne, which just had its 100,000^th model produced in Leipzig! This is actually more of a double celebration thanks to the spectacular timing.  The Leipzig facility is also celebrating a decade of producing not only the Cayenne but also the Porsche Panamera.  If you have not been clued into what exactly the  Leipsiz facility is, it is a renowned state-of-the-art auto manufacturing  plant, which is revered by much of the world.  It also has a tendency to make other production plants feel a bit envious.

Are you curious as to where you might locate this 100,000^th Porsche Cayenne? The options aren't slim, based on the fact that you can find this particular model in 125 geos worldwide. But, this snow-white, V8-packing SUV is scheduled to land in Brazil with the proud owner eagerly awaiting.

Despite the fact that  global demand for the Porsche Cayenne continues to soar, production is doing a great job keeping up. Just how good is production doing?  Well Porsche decided to create a third shift at the Leipzig plant, which began just this past January, to help keep up with demand. This move is expected to grow unit production to 500/day. We also doubt that it will be the end of created jobs and expanded production shifts.

Fred Lavery Company is really excited that Porsche is preparing to build an all-new model range in Leipzig, towards the end of 2012. We're not quite sure yet, just what they have in mind. One thing is for sure, expansion is on their mind, and they are taking seriously.
