Land Rover Celebrates Ten Years of Range Rover with Three Special Editions

Fred Lavery Company is having a rather hard time believing that the Range Rover has already been prowling the streets of Birmingham for ten years now, but our sources tell us it's true. Another thing our sources tell us? Land Rover isn't planning to let this milestone go unnoticed. Rather, they're planning to celebrate in style, and that includes sprucing up a few Range Rover models in honor of the achievement.

Before we go any further, yes that does mean the company has three special editions planned for the iconic Land Rover model. They are the Range Rover Wesminster Edition, Range Rover TDV8 Autobiography Edition, and Range Rover Supercharged Autobiography Edition respectively.

First we'll take a look at the Range Rover Wesminster Edition. Picking up right where the previous TDV8 Vogue and Vogue SE models left off, it features a bright 'Noble' finish on its front grille and side vents; a 'Titan' silver lower splitter bar and fog lamp bezels; a set of 20-inch, 10-spoke alloy wheels; and to top it all off, a unique Westminster badge. On the inside? Land Rover has added thicker, luxury carpets; Grand Black lacquer trim elements; heated and cooled front seats; a 19-speaker, 1,200W harman/kardon LOGIC7 surround sound system; and an innovative Dual View infotainment screen.

Moving along to the Range Rover TDV8 Autobiography and Supercharged Autobiography, we find that both are equipped with the standard Range Rover Design Pack. This means they feature new front and rear bumpers; 'Titan' silver front grille and side vent treatments and fog lamps; stainless steel exhaust finishers and side skirts; and 20-inch alloy wheels, finished in a striking Shadow Crhome. Inside, both models share the luxurious Range Rover Seat Style Pack, which adds recline and lumbar adjustments, heating and cooling functionality, and improved headrests to the rear seats.

So what differentiates the TDV8 Autobiography and Supercharged Autobiography editions? That would be the fact that while the Range Rover TDV8 Autobiography Edition features a 4.4-liter, V8 engine and eight-speed automatic transmission, the Supercharged Autobiography Edition boasts a more powerful 5.0-liter LR-V8 with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Unfortunately, none of these models have been confirmed for sale in the United States just yet. But Fred Lavery Company, located at 34602 Woodward Avenue Birmingham, MI 48009, isn't giving up hope just yet. So make sure to stay tuned for more Land Rover news as it becomes available.
